shady dealings
a return to my hidden grove... back in 2002 during a outdoor sculpture summer intensive workshop kinda thing i did 2 outdoor installations in this shady grove of trees right off of a pathway. it wasnt far from several buildings and students walked by it to and from wherever. but when you looked outward from within this shady hollow everything seemed removed and distant...
while the space was relaxing it was also frantically alive with the dappled sunlight and the branches shooting out at perfectly awkward angles. it was quite the invigorating atmosphere for artistic endeavors.
my wonderful friend katie cooper snuck this picture we took the class together and laughed our asses of the whole time.

yeahhhh man, you got to work in the shade while i was in the swamp and sun. you still talk to the coop?
oh and boy was it swampy and sunny! and the bugs, OMFG! but those were very good times, we really got into it.
and yes, katie cooper is totally rockin' the law in Bmore and i hope to see her in the coming days.
