where fun goes to die

it may be where fun goes to die

but fun heads down south to florida
and goes out out with wild dramatic flare
gets all worked up by pressure systems
lets loose lightning & alligator tears
it burns the sky bloody, fruity alcoholic colors
only to fall & fizzle out in the gulf of mexico
going up in insane fluffy smoke signals
only to repeat the whole process again the next day...

once again

every once in awhile my every need is provided
in the form of materials that speak my language.

my pilgrimage to the mecca that is joanne fabrics
was surprisingly fruitful this weekend...
it was the bold colors that caught my eye
but 'twas the engaging textures that had me drooling
