an equal displacement of forces occurs
water splash matches feather flurry
ceramic structure set stumbling
attempting to right lost balance

unfurled banners

unfurl your flags and let loose your banners!
DECLARE INDEPENDENCE as bjork might say...
uncover the keyboards and ready your brushes,
music must be made and art will be done!
go forth with self assurance, you know the motions
storm the streets and expand your safe places
the sun, moon & sky are your awaiting audience

passive aggressives

conjured up something to stand behind/something to stand beside
a shield of sorts, fortified with chlorophyll & poison-dipped sticks
a layer of watermelon sugar pulses jellylike, deflecting/absorbing blows
a many-legged, amorphous creature stands guard in my visual periphery
a shimmering coat of glossy scales draped over heavy forms softens shape
together we move forward into strange, uncharted territory
